I got a new doe yesterday. Her name is Princess ButterCup, she is a lilac otter doe and there will be pictures up of her shortly :)
Jessica x Barnaby is fit and well! I nursed him back to health and he is doing brilliantly!
The seven harlequin fawn mini lop kits are starting to emerge from their nest! They have been exiting the hutch and have taken a nibble on the grass too! A new doe? I may be getting Bluebelle a new hutch mate tomorrow afternoon, we may call this one Lavender unless we think of a more suited name when we do see her! I am going to build more hutches tomorrow with my father so there is more space for boarders and my own bunnies :) I have received another £40 from one of the earless bunnies family, what a generous donation! That's all for now! But you will be hearing from me soon :) I went out this morning to go through my usual rabbit routine, when I noticed my baby Barnaby had not eaten his food, he hadn't drank his water and he was laying there and not coming up to me as he usually would! What a scare, so I rushed him to the vets where they explained that Barnaby was suffering from a chest infection, which may turn into pneumonia! I have brought him into the house, I am hand feeding him his liquid medicated food and he got three injections too. I have a bout two weeks until he has fully recovered but I am going to take him back to the vets on Friday to see if he is improving. Please keep your fingers crossed for my Barnaby, he is in critical condition! I will feed him every two hours and keep him warm and quiet. With a bit of luck he will get better! Fingers and toes crossed!
I got my new Blue Self doe last week and I am extremely happy with her! Her name is BlueBelle and she is such an amazing character!
I have also attached a couple new pages on my website so why not have a browse?? :D Jessica x I have uploaded more pictures of the new mini lop kits, I counted them up and I have seven little babies in the nest! They have all got their undercoats coming through and it appears that they are all harlequin fawns! Wonderful babies that I hope are fit and well..
See "My kits"-"Flashedy and Toby's second litter" to see the new pictures. Jessica. x I added more pictures to the site today! Take a look :)
Jessica.x I went out today to see if I could count how many kits were in the nest, but could only see around five and decided not to meddle with them too much, so I will be looking every day to see if I can count them and will be keeping you posted on any other news.
Two boarders; Ivy and Snoopy arrived yesterday afternoon and they are still a little nervous, but Snoopy has been coming out into the run today so that is progress! I will take some pictures of them and put them up soon to show everyone how happy they are at Little Paws Pet Boarding! Keep your eyes peeled for more pictures of the litter! They will be needing new homes in about 8 weeks! Jessica x |
