1. Do I Need To Bring Food?*
- If you wish for your dog to have a meal during daycare, please bring their food along, and we'll ensure they're fed at the time specified by you, the owner.
2. Do You Accept Unneutered/Unspayed Dogs?*
- Yes, we welcome unneutered/unspayed dogs. However, we kindly ask that female dogs not in season attend daycare.
3. What Is Your Daily Routine?*
- We commence operations at 8 am, with most dogs arriving around this time. We prioritise outdoor playtime, moving indoors during inclement weather for comfort and warmth. A designated chill period allows for downtime, especially beneficial for puppies or dogs needing a break. Feeding occurs around 12 pm, unless alternative arrangements have been made by owners. Departures vary, with some dogs leaving at 1:30 pm (AM session) and others arriving for the PM session at 1:00 pm. The day concludes at 6 pm, following additional play and downtime.
4. What Is Your Assessment Process?*
- Our assessment involves a gradual integration process to ensure compatibility with our daycare environment. We observe the dog's behaviour towards other dogs and our staff, monitoring for any signs of aggression or discomfort. Our goal is to ensure a positive experience for all dogs involved.
5. How Do You Manage Bookings?*
- Utilising our online booking system, accessible through our website, clients can conveniently schedule services. Once registered and logged in to your client portal, you can input necessary details, including payment information and your dog's particulars. Upon booking, notifications are sent to us for scheduling confirmation. Cancellations are also managed through our online platform.
6. What Are Your Payment Procedures?*
- Invoices are issued on the 1st of each month. Payment options include bank transfer, through your account on our system, or cash. For small pet and dog boarding, payment is required before or on the booking start date.
7. What Qualifications Do Your Staff Possess?*
- Our staff hold a minimum qualification of level 2 in animal care and first aid, ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals under our care.
8. How Do You Ensure Comfort in Different Seasons?*
- During winter, we outfit dogs with coats (unless advised otherwise by owners) and provide intermittent indoor breaks with heating to maintain warmth. We closely monitor behaviour and offer additional warmth with towels and blankets as needed. In summer, we prioritise regular cooling breaks, ample water, and shaded areas to prevent overheating.
9. What Types of Animals Do You Board?*
- We offer boarding services for a variety of small pets, including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chickens, rodents, and reptiles. Additionally, we accommodate small and medium breeds of dogs for boarding.
What Vaccines Are Required ?
Do I Need To Bring Food ?
It is not a necessity but if you do require your dog to have a feed while at daycare we ask that you bring their food with you and we will give it to them at the time suggested by the owner.
Do You Take Un Neutered/Spayed Dogs ?
Yes we do, for female dogs we do require that you do not bring them to daycare when they are in season.
What Is Your Routine ?
Our opening time is 8am and this is when most of the dogs turn up, we play outside with the dogs most of the time, if the weather is rainy or cold we bring the dogs inside for a break and to warm up. We also give the dogs a chill time where we bring them inside to have some downtime, this is mainly for puppies or dogs that need a break. Around 12pm we feed the dogs unless owners have given us other times to feed their dog, we only feed dogs if the owner has brought them food. We have some dogs arrive at 1:00 that are on a PM session and some dogs leave at 1:30 who are on an AM session. We then continue to play with the dogs and let them have some downtime before their home time at 6pm.
What is your assessment Process ?
During an assessment we do a slow integration to make sure that the new dog is suitable for our daycare environment. We watch the dogs behaviour towards other dogs and our staff and watch to see if there is any aggression towards anything, we also watch and make sure that the situation isn't overwhelming for the new dog.
How do you use your booking system ?
We have an only booking system which you can sign up to through our website, once you are signed up log in to your client portal and add all your details i.e card details and your dog's details. Once you have done this you can book onto any service you like which will send a notification through to us and we will accept this and add it to our rota. You can also cancel your booking using our online system.
How do we pay for services ?
Invoices go out on the 1st of every month, where you can either bank transfer, pay through your account on our system or pay cash. For small pet boarding and dog boarding we require the payment to be made either before or on the day of the booking start date.

How do you keep dogs warm in the winter and cool in the summer ?
In the winter we make sure that dogs have coats on (unless owner has advised us not to) we bring the dogs inside in intervals with the heater on so they can warm up, we keep a very close eye on all the dogs behaviour, if a dog is showing signs of being cold we will put them inside with towels and blankets until they have warmed up. In the summer we give the dogs regular breaks to make sure they get to cool down, we make sure that there is plenty of water and shade easily accessible for the dogs.
